The Petroleum Additives segment is used in lubricating oils and fuels to enhance their performance in machinery, vehicles, and other equipment. The Specialty Materials segment focuses on the production of perchlorates, which include several grades of ammonium perchlorate, sodium perchlorate, and potassium perchlorate. It manages properties owned in Virginia and provides various administrative services. The company was founded on February 11, 1887 and is headquartered in Richmond, VA.
