TD Ameritrade<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdameritrade.com\/about-us.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TD Ameritrade<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a broker founded in 1975 and acquired by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/stocks\/sp500\/schw\">Charles Schwab Corporation<\/a> (<\/strong><\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/search\/valuation\/SCHW\">NYSE:SCHW<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>)<\/strong> in 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has over 11 million clients with more than $1 trillion in assets under management. Clients are encouraged to build investment pies and deposits are automatically funneled into long-term holds. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This encourages a more conservative investing style. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By July 2021, the company received $150 million in series E financing that valued it at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.m1finance.com\/blog\/series-e\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$1.45 billion<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a fraction of the $4.5 billion in assets under its management from over 500,000 users.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Automated tools help to set rule-based finance transfers on the platform, which provides the benefits of an active portfolio manager. With so much automated, you can live your life and trust the platform to manage your investments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The C-suite\u2019s roadmap is focused on innovating beyond investing into savings, lending, and more. It aims to demystify investing by letting users track each other\u2019s trades and learn from popular investors.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company also offers a variety of trading themes to make it easier for new investors to choose. Of course, it\u2019s not the only company working to do that.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>4. It\u2019s estimated to earn $1 billion in net revenue in 2021, and it has the backing of <a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/blog\/investing\/how-did-chamath-palihapitiya-make-his-money\">Chamath Palihapitiya<\/a>, a prominent investor in the social media age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SoFi<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> successfully remove its reliance on legacy banks through a bank charter, the company is poised for growth. It is relying on the halo effect of cross-selling existing customers to new offerings, and it&#8217;s currently executing flawlessly.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>5. Fidelity<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidelity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fidelity Investments<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a legacy financial services company based in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1946 and grew to become one of the largest asset managers in the world, with about $5 trillion in assets under management serving over 26 million retail accounts and 32.6 million workplace retirement accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company offers a variety of investment tools, including mutual funds, index funds, retirement accounts, and wealth management. And it continues diving further into cryptocurrency, with its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidelitydigitalassets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fidelity Digital Assets app<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and a Bitcoin ETF.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because it\u2019s a more traditional brokerage, Fidelity has lagged in features like fractional shares and DRIP reinvestments. However, it does allow investments in mutual funds and <a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/blog\/investing\/penny-stock-promoters-what-you-need-to-know\">penny stocks<\/a> not available at many of its smaller rivals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fidelity offers its users a deep arsenal of research and data tools. That\u2019s how it consistently outranks Robinhood and others in critical reviews and rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>6. Webull<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webull.com\/blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Webull Financial LLC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a Chinese-owned electronic trading platform that has backing from companies like Xiaomi and Shunwei Capital. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Originally founded by former <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/stocks\/nyse\/baba\">Alibaba Group<\/a> (<\/strong><\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/search\/valuation\/BABA\">NYSE:BABA<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>)<\/strong> employee Wang Anquan in 2017, the company quickly grew and received SEC approval as a robo-advisor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"margin: 0 auto; border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/widget\/stock-score\/BABA?periodGrouping=daily&amp;defaultSeries=candlesticks\" width=\"720\" height=\"500\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless=\"\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform\u2019s biggest growth surge came at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-01-29\/robinhood-rival-webull-sees-16-fold-jump-in-new-trading-accounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beginning of 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, during the <strong>GameStop Corp (<a href=\"https:\/\/financhill.com\/stocks\/sp500\/gme\">NYSE:GME<\/a>)<\/strong> short squeeze. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev (who became a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/07\/19\/robinhood-ceo-vlad-tenev-could-be-worth-2point5-billion-after-ipo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">multi-billionaire<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the company\u2019s IPO) halted trading on affected stocks to maintain liquidity.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This caused a revolt of its users, and Webull\u2019s new account openings skyrocketed from the 2 million users it had at the end of 2020.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While somewhat similar in capabilities, Webull\u2019s UX and tools are different from Robinhood. It allows trading of more cryptocurrencies, and the company recently opened <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webull.com\/fractionalshares\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fractional share trading<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
